Robert D. Taddeo, 70, of Baldwinsville, passed away at home on Wednesday holding the hands of his loving wife. Bob was born on September 28, 1943 in Syracuse to Francis and Jane Taddeo. He graduated from Central Tech High School and Clarkson University. When asked what he did for a living, Bob liked to say that he had three careers. He was a Jet Engineer for Pratt and Whitney in Hartford, Connecticut and worked on the design for the engines of Air Force One. He took his love of hiking and backpacking and turned it into his second career as a manager for Nippenose in Rochester, NY. His final career he spent at E.S. Bird Library at Syracuse University where he loved to spend time exploring the vast collections. In his retirement, Bob enjoyed spending time with his couch buddy, Princess and enjoying his interests in astronomy, postage stamps, classical music, wine and watches. He also bravely battled Kennedy’s Disease, a rare neurological disease which contributed to his death. Bob was predeceased by his parents; and his infant brother, Kenneth. He is survived by his wife, Renee Romance; brother, Frank and his wife, Birdie of Bridgeport; and his sister, Elaine (Helen) of Jamesville. He enjoyed purchasing coins for his five nephews and two nieces. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 28 at 8:30 a.m. at FARONE & SON FUNERAL HOME and 9 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Tuesday, May 27 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home, 1500 Park Street, Syracuse. Donations can be made to E.S. Bird Library at Syracuse University.

Mr. Tinsley was preceded in death by his son Tercel L. Tinsley. He leaves to cherish his memory; wife, Willie M. Tinsley; one son, James M. William “Bill” A. Trotman passed away peacefully on May 25, 2025, at Exeter Hospital in Hampton, New Hampshire after a lengthy illness.
Born in Quincy, Massachusetts, on October 27, 1943, Bill was the son of the late Wilfred and Muriel (Blackmore) Trotman. He was raised primarily in Syracuse, New York, and after graduating from high school, proudly served four years in the United States Air Force.
Following his honorable discharge, Bill began his professional career at Gould Shawmut in Newburyport, Massachusetts. He relocated his family to Hampton, New Hampshire, where he would build a long and successful career in electrical manufacturing sales and management. In 2002, he was promoted to President and CEO of Gould Shawmut, where he played a key role in structuring the company’s global organization. He also served as a member of IMARK’s prestigious Suppliers Advisory Council.
Outside of his professional life, Bill was an avid golfer and a former member of Abenaqui and Portsmouth Country Clubs. In retirement, he and his wife enjoyed spending winters in Naples, Florida, for ten years.
Bill is survived by his devoted wife of 60 years, Kathleen (Cummings) Trotman; his daughters Tracy Kelly and her husband John, and Kimberly Kubit and her husband Brian; and six beloved grandchildren: Christopher, Anna, and William Saunders; Catherine and Lauren Kubit; and Matthew Kelly. He was predeceased by his daughter, Pamela Saunders, in 2021.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at St. Theresa Parish, 820 Central Road, Rye Beach, NH. Burial will follow immediately at High Street Cemetery in Hampton.

VENTRE, Bernard E. Age 71, of Hingham, MA, passed away on August 19, 2014, after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved son of the late Bernard and Nellie (Damico) Ventre. He was the devoted husband of Isabel (Colagiovanni) Ventre and together they shared forty-four years of marriage. Beloved father of Mark and Marissa and cherished grandfather of Lena. Bernie was born in Syracuse, NY, and graduated from Central High. He received his undergraduate degree from Ohio State University and his MBA from Suffolk University. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam Era, stationed at Ft Hood, Texas. An entrepreneurial spirit at heart, he owned his own advertising agency, with focus on trade magazines. The love of his life was his family. He was an avid golfer and Celtics fan. Bernie was a silent hero to so many. Visiting hours will take place on Sunday, August 24, 2014, from 4-7p.m. at the Downing Funeral Chapel, 21 Pond St., HINGHAM.
